Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m in my late 70s and needed structural work after a survey outlined repairs to structural areas, internal walls, and electrics. Lukas completed all the work highlighted by the survey to an excellent standard. He was very polite, considerate, and trustworthy throughout. He finished everything on time and left the house very tidy each day. I felt completely at ease having him around and would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a reliable , trustworthy and professional builder.

For the last 10 years, I have used Lukas and his company for a wide range of projects across three different properties, from family homes to rental accommodation, and I can honestly say they are brilliant.

What sets them apart is that they are always clean, professional, transparent, and honest with their pricing. In my experience, trustworthy builders can be difficult to find, which makes these qualities especially valuable. They are also highly reliable when it comes to meeting deadlines, helpful throughout the planning process, and flexible when changes or unexpected issues arise.

Most importantly, they take pride in doing the job properly. If any issues occur, they return to resolve them, which is not always the case with other builders. Communication has also been excellent throughout every project.

I would confidently recommend Lukas and the team for house renovations and all types of building work. Over the years, they have consistently delivered excellent results on every project we have hired them for. Their work has included garden and decking renovations, outbuilding renovations, internal and external painting and decorating, plastering, damp proofing, flooring installations, and much more.

Thanks, Lukas, for all your help over the years and for the excellent work completed in 2026.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had LMDEC do our kitchen renovation in Balham last year. They also removed the old chimney and carried out some steel work for us. The whole experience was really smooth – the quality of the work was excellent, everything was well coordinated, and they stuck to the schedule and finished on time. We were genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Yell. I just wanted to share our experience with LMDEC Ltd after the recent work they carried out at our property.

They completed a full new roof covering for us and also referred/fitted two bathrooms to a really high standard. The quality of the finish is excellent – clean, solid work that looks and feels professional.

What stood out most was Lukas and his team. From the first conversation through to the final tidy-up they were reliable, polite and genuinely easy to deal with. They turned up when they said they would, kept the site organised, and left everything cleaner than they found it. No mess left behind, no cutting corners – just proper, careful work.

We’re very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend LMDEC to anyone needing roofing or bathroom work done properly.

Thank you again to Lukas and the team.

Best regards,

LMDEC were the ideal builders for our home!
We were looking for a refurb of our newly bought house. The house needed a lot of cosmetic work, new kitchen, new floors and ceilings, new electricals and new heating. The team was able to provide me sound advice, with clear costs, pros and cons for each option. Underfloor heating, a walk-in closet room, a great cost-effective boiler, beautiful engineered wood floors, hiring specialists for asbestos removal, everything done with professionalism and dedication. They delivered on their promise, within budget, no hidden costs and ahead of schedule, which was perfect as we had a hard deadline to move in. Everyone that visits us is always impressed with how amazing our house looks like.A few months in and we couldn't be happier! What was a house, it is now our home!Thank you LMDEC team and we will reach out to you when it is time to do the conservatory and the garden!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lucas completed the reasonably small job in my home to a high standard. This was work which was completed over 3 different days in three weeks.
He arrived when he said he would and was flexible in when he did the work to fit into my schedule. Dust was kept to a minimum which was very helpful as not much cleaning up to do when they left!
An extremely pleasant person to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use LMDEC again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Trustindex. Reliable, thorough, and excellent aftercare
Last summer, LMDEC Builders completed a full refurbishment of our old Victorian house in Balham, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

They finished everything in five months — stripping the walls, redoing all the electrics and plumbing, fitting a new bathroom, installing a new boiler, building a new kitchen, levelling the floors, and even doing some tidying up in the garden. The scope was huge, but they kept things moving and the standard of work was excellent throughout.

They came back for snagging without any fuss, and six months later they returned to check for any cracks that might have appeared from the house settling. Thankfully there were none, but it says a lot that they followed up anyway.

I was originally introduced to them through my business partner, and I’m so glad I took the recommendation. If you’re considering them for a big project, you’re in safe hands.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Trustindex. LMDEC just saved our Wimbledon flat (and our marriage)
We moved into our 1930s two-bed in Wimbledon last April. The place looked like my nan’s spare room: woodchip wallpaper, a kitchen you had to turn sideways to use, and a bathroom that smelled like wet dog no matter how much bleach we threw at it.
Priya found LMDEC on the Facebook group (yes, that’s a real thing). One neighbour posted a before/after of their loft, and we were sold.
Lucas came round the following evening, shoes off at the door, measured everything with a laser, drank two cups of tea and quoted £38k on the spot. No “I’ll email you”, no “allow £10k for surprises”—just a number and a handshake.
Six weeks later, I’m writing this on a quartz island that definitely wasn’t in the budget.
The good stuff

They text you every morning: 8 am start, kitchen rip-out today.
Dust sheets + hoover robots = zero complaints from upstairs.
Changed our minds on tiles on day 12. They shrugged, ordered new ones, and ate the £400 hit.
Finished four days early. We came home to fresh paint, cold beers in the fridge and a card that said “Welcome to your new chapter”.

The only drama
Skip blocked Mrs Khan’s drive for 45 minutes. LMDEC sent her a £50 M&S voucher and moved it before she finished her Pilates class.
Price
£37,100 in the end. They passed on a Howdens discount and knocked £900 off the final invoice “because the lads finished early”.

If you’re in SW19 and your flat still has carpet in the bathroom, stop faffing about. Ring Lucas and tell him Tom with the wonky coving sent you. He’ll sort you out.
Underfloor heating in the wet room is better than an old radiator.

South London builder reviews — what our clients say

Our homeowners we’ve worked with update automatically through our Trustindex feed. LMDEC currently holds a 4.9 out of 5 average across more than 30 verified reviews. Clients consistently mention clear communication, fixed-price quoting, tidy sites and workmanship that matches the photographs in our gallery.

You can also read independent feedback on Trustpilot and Google Business Profile. We do not edit or filter public reviews — what you see is what homeowners have posted after their project completed.

Homeowners searching for South London renovation testimonials often want proof before committing to a six-figure extension or loft conversion. Our reviews consistently mention the same strengths: honest quoting, tidy sites, and trades who turn up when promised. Whether the project was a Wandsworth loft, a Clapham side return, or a full Croydon refurbishment, clients describe the same experience — one team, one project manager, no chasing subcontractors.

— Services reviewed

Which projects appear most in our clients reviews

Most five-star feedback relates to full project delivery: one project manager, in-house trades and a single point of contact from quote to handover. The most reviewed project types are:

Home extensions and loft conversions — rear extensions, side returns and dormer lofts in Wandsworth, Wimbledon, Dulwich and Clapham
Kitchen renovations — open-plan layouts, structural steel, bespoke cabinetry and stone worktops
Bathroom renovations — wet rooms, family bathrooms and period restorations
Full house refurbishments — Victorian terraces and Edwardian semis across Croydon, Beckenham and Bromley

If you are planning work, use our free London renovation cost estimator for a realistic budget range before booking a site visit.

— Why clients choose us

Why South London families leave five-star builder reviews

Renovations in London go wrong when trades are fragmented — one subcontractor blames another and the homeowner is left coordinating. LMDEC keeps carpentry, plumbing, electrics, plastering and decorating in-house. You speak to one project manager from the first visit to snagging. Check our South London renovation testimonials

What South London builder reviews mention most often

Fixed-price quotes — itemised scope; variations agreed before work starts
Local knowledge — planning constraints in Wandsworth, Richmond, Merton, Croydon and Bromley
Period property experience — Victorian terraces, Edwardian semis, conservation areas
Insurance and certification — £2M Public Liability; Gas Safe and NICEIC subcontractors where required
Aftercare — two-year workmanship warranty and six-month check-in included

— Real projects

See the work behind our South London builder reviews

Every image in our projects gallery is from a completed LMDEC build — not stock photography. Recent work includes loft conversions in Dulwich and Wandsworth, kitchen extensions with bi-fold doors in Balham, and full refurbishments in Selsdon and Beckenham. When you read a South London builder review mentioning a kitchen or loft, you can usually find the matching project in the gallery.

We take on a maximum of three projects at a time. If we accept your job, you receive our full attention from quote to handover — never juggled against five other sites. That focus is reflected repeatedly in our client feedback.
